How We Help: Gentle, Personalised Sleep Support for Calm, Confident Families

Sleep challenges can feel all consuming.

Perhaps your nights feel unpredictable,

Your days are shaped by tiredness,

You’re constantly second-guessing what your child needs.

Many parents find themselves feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure which advice to trust especially when every child, and every family, is so different.

You may be

Longing for calmer evenings,

More settled sleep,

The confidence of knowing you’re supporting your child in a way that feels right.

Not perfection, not rigid routines, just something that feels sustainable, gentle, and achievable within your real family life.

This is where I can help.

Through personalised, thoughtful sleep support, I work with families to bring clarity, structure, and reassurance to sleep.

Together, we create realistic strategies designed around your family’s needs.

I’m Sophie, founder of Your Sleep Family.

I provide gentle, realistic sleep support for babies, children, and the families who care for them.

I founded Your Sleep Family to support parents who feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn with sleep, offering calm, personalised guidance that respects both your child’s needs and your family’s values.

Through thoughtful online consultations, I help families move from unsettled nights to more settled, sustainable sleep rhythms always with realistic expectations, compassionate support, and achievable strategies.

Am I Right For You?

How do online sleep consultations work?

All support is provided remotely via video call, phone, and messaging, allowing families across the UK to access personalised sleep guidance from the comfort of home. Sleep plans and recommendations are shared digitally for ease and flexibility.

What age groups do you support?

I provide gentle sleep support for babies, infants, and young children. Guidance is always tailored to your child’s developmental stage, temperament, and your family’s individual needs.

Do you use cry-based sleep training methods?

My approach is gentle, responsive, and family-centred. I focus on realistic, emotionally supportive strategies that prioritise connection and wellbeing while working toward improved sleep.

How quickly will we see improvements?

Sleep is influenced by many factors, including age, routines, temperament, and consistency. Rather than promising unrealistic timelines, I focus on steady, sustainable progress that feels manageable and supportive.

Can you help with night waking and naps?

Yes. Many families seek support for frequent night waking, nap challenges, and unsettled sleep patterns. Strategies are designed to address underlying causes while supporting healthy sleep development.

Is this suitable for working parents?

Absolutely. All guidance is designed around your family’s routines, lifestyle, and practical constraints, ensuring recommendations feel realistic and sustainable.

How We Work Together

1. Complimentary Discovery Call

We begin with a relaxed 15-minute call to talk through your child’s sleep, your current challenges, and what you hope to improve. This is simply a space to connect, ask questions, and explore how I can support your family.

Should you decide to move forward with either support option, we then schedule a full consultation.

2. One-Hour Consultation

Our consultation allows us to explore your child’s sleep in depth, identify the underlying challenges, and discuss your family’s routines, preferences, and goals. This conversation forms the foundation for all subsequent guidance and recommendations.

3. Understanding Your Family’s Sleep

Following the consultation, you’ll complete a detailed sleep log and questionnaire. This allows me to build a clear, thoughtful picture of your child’s patterns, rhythms, and the wider dynamics of your home environment.

4. Personalised Sleep Plan Creation

Over the next two days, I carefully review your information and design a tailored sleep plan for your family. Every recommendation is shaped around your child’s needs and what feels realistic and sustainable for your household.

5. Guidance & Ongoing Support

Once your plan is shared, support begins.

Families selecting the Light Support Package receive two scheduled follow-up calls, offering reassurance, troubleshooting, and gentle refinements as changes are implemented.

Families choosing the High Support Package receive three weeks of continued support, combining regular WhatsApp communication with scheduled calls. This allows time for responsive guidance, deeper refinement, and steady, supported progress.

6. A Calmer, More Settled Rhythm

The aim is not perfection, but a family life that feels more rested, predictable, and calm — where sleep becomes a source of restoration rather than stress, and parents feel confident in supporting their child.

Imagine evenings that feel calmer and more predictable,

Where bedtime no longer brings uncertainty or dread.

Nights begin to feel more settled, and sleep becomes a source of restoration rather than stress.

Many families leave feeling more confident and at ease. You’ll understand your child’s sleep needs, feel sure about your choices, and have gentle, lasting routines that fit your family.

The aim isn’t perfection or strict schedules, but a calmer, more rested home where both you and your child can thrive.

Parents usually seek help when sleep feels overwhelming, unpredictable, or impossible to keep up with. They want easier bedtimes, more settled nights, and the comfort of knowing they’re supporting their child’s sleep with confidence.

With support, families often see steadier sleep patterns, smoother bedtimes, and a calmer home, along with the confidence that comes from truly understanding their child’s sleep.

Support is available in two carefully designed options.
